if you are ever so inclined to add some abstract fuzz (distortion) on some of those long held notes, in the break off version, i swear, i can hear some real raspy muddy down to Earth crawl, there! love the whole gig!!

Jaco, who used only two fingers, tried to play as close to the bridge as possible. He claimed it was easier to play rapidly that way becauseof the difference in string tension there. Maybe you could buy or build a bass with a pickup absurdly close to the beidge to employ borh approaches.
